Vatican In Shock As 1,500-Year-Old Bible Claims Jesus Wasn’t Crucified

Jesus not Crucified? but Judas? – By Victor Ochieng received this story first from our friend Dr Hilda Raja who received it from Victor and others. We received it also from other sources.

At present the Catholic Church acknowledges only four Canonical gospels: of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. Others are declared illfounded, erroneous or heretical. But we know for certain that there were many gospels written by other apostles, and disciples of Jesus both men and women.

Distroyed  many Versions

It is also known for certain that the Catholic Church did a herculean task to destroy many versions which did not either project the narrative projected by the “Church” or differed in views or contradicted its narrative. When this destruction was carried out on a war footing worldwide, many buried their own versions in iron cases, for fear of forceful capture and destruction.

In those days the rule was “Rome has said and the case is settled.” That is how the four Canonical Gospels were fixed. Today theologians and self-styled learned men declare Pope, a heretic. Still many of such versions of Gospels according to Mary or Martha and other disciples were excavated and we have different stories about the life and activities of Jesus. But this latest find of Gospel according to Barnabas, if true, it will create catastrophic revolution in the Catholic Church.

Jesus’ life from 12 to 30

It is a very long story of the Church’s policy of silence, cover-ups of sex abuse as happens even now in the case of highly placed churchmen and cardinals in Washington, Australia and in other top cities. Truth is mighty and will prevail, it will come out even from the sealed tomb. Even today how much does the Catholic Church know about Jesus and Mary and the hidden life of 18 years from the age of 12 when he rebelled and ran away for three days. Some think of Jesus as a mature and grown up at 12, today it is at 18, and Mary as a liberated young lady.

Calling Mary “Woman”

Think of Jesus calling Mary, “Woman”, also at Cana. Was it an endearing appellation from a devoted or  a rebellious son? What about the brothers of Jesus and the Virgin birth of Jesus? Does anyone outside the Catholic Church believe in it except as “Cock and Bull” stories found in ever so many religions, starting with Hinduism? Outsiders don’t question, not to offend Christian sentiments. Christians don’t, not to appear as faithless Christians! But who cares and searches for the truth, except the fearless truth hunters?

Judas top saint!

We ourselves wrote long, long ago, Judas should be placed as the topmost saint, because unlike the denying Peter, the Doubting Thomas and power-hungry James and John who wanted to sit at the right and left of the throne of Jesus, Judas admitted his guilt for selling Jesus for 32 pieces of silver. Once awakened to the enormous traitorous crime he committed, he condemned himself and executed the punishment he thought should be meted out without fear or favour. Peter and Thomas chose the the painless path of shedding tears or doing a painless confession as is done in Sacramental confession in the Church.

Ideal Son of Man

Therefore Jesus raised him up. One who condemns himself has to be canonized. Jesus did that for him, being God, or with the power of God, which is another unbreakable nut to crack. But Jesus definitely was a man of God, the ideal SON OF MAN as he called himself over 90 times. There are too many things to discuss for the rational, inquisitive, honest mind. That alone is the honest treasure hunt for humans on this earth.  james kottoor, editor CCV.

Judas, not Jesus was Crucified!

An approximately 1,500-2,000-year-old Bible found in Turkey has left the Vatican in shock because it allegedly confirms that Jesus Christ wasn’t crucified as has come to be widely believed. The Bible, which was discovered in 2000 and kept in secret in Ankara’s Ethnography Museum, contains the gospel of Jesus’ disciple Barnabas.

The gospel claims that Christ was neither crucified nor was he God’s son. Instead, it says he was just a prophet. The book also refers to Apostle Paul as “The Impostor” and further claims that Christ ascended back to heaven alive, with Judas Iscariot being crucified in his place.

The now controversial book was recovered during an operation in the Mediterranean-area as authorities went against a gang that smuggles antiquities and illegal explosives, says a report by The National Turk. The old book is currently valued at a whopping 40 million Turkish Liras, approximately $28 million.

Experts and religious bodies have examined the book and agree that it’s an original piece. It’s clearly written in gold lettering in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. It contains teachings that agree with Islam, contradicting the New Testament of the Bible. In the book, Jesus foretells the birth of Prophet Muhammad, the one who founded Islam 700 years later.

Truth be told, there have been some murmurs surrounding the authenticity of the Bible we’re using today. There is a clique that believes that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church picked the canonical gospel books such as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, deliberately choosing to omit the book of Barnabas, possibly because of its position on Jesus Christ.

Although several Bibles have surfaced over the recent past, including the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospel, this latest one appears to be a big worry to the Vatican, especially because of its claims about Jesus. What does the discovery mean for today’s Christians? It, no doubt, brings to question the authenticity of the Christian gospel.

Worried that it might shake the Christian faith, the Vatican has requested Turkish authorities to allow them to examine the book’s contents. Although the discovery isn’t expected to have a massive impact on the belief of the billions of Christians across the globe, it’s likely to weaken the Christian leadership, especially that of the Vatican.

The fact that the book doesn’t originate with Muslims also puts the Vatican on a tight rope. Should they find out that the piece is authentic, it will result in a complete transformation of the Catholic faith.

Whether this recently discovered Bible is true or false, it confirms the belief that Father sent his only son and had him crucified in atonement for mankind's sins as absurd, illogical and beyond what common sense can accept as reasonable. Surely,  Almighty God had other means to forgive the sins instead of letting generation after generation made to take a guilt trip throughout his or her life term, reaching a crescendo come Easter time.   All that the four gospels managed to do was to establish that all the prior prophesies came true.  They also left enough room for interpretation which resulted in the invention of concept of Trinity and Jesus' elevation, by default, to God.  I would think that the newly discovered Bible is right in identifying Jesus as just another prophet as understood by the Muslims.  Vatican has nothing to fear.  It just need to re-write it's creed and belief system in such a way that they appeal to common sense, logic and reason.

The editor wrote that the report is written by Victor Ochieng and that he got the story from Dr Hilda Raja who again got it from some other sources. The string appears to create just a sensation.  Who is Mohan mentioned at the footnote?  Is he also a source of this article?  What are his credentials?  The article looks lopsided.
