Two minor explosions reported in Belur Math

Two low intensity explosions took place at the Belur Math in West Bengal on Friday evening.

Though no one was injured in the blast, some glass counters at the math cracked due to the shock waves, states report by The Telegraph.

Since Friday was a holiday, the Math was filled with pilgrims.

The police later cordoned off the area and collected forensic samples from the spot. "Preliminary investigations indicated the possibility of fire crackers," Howrah DC-HQ Nishat Parvej told Te Telegraph.

Belur Math is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission founded by Swami Vivekanada.
