Cardinal Baselios Cleemis

IG[Note: It has been more than three months since the heinous crime of kidnap, dacoity and attempt to murder was perpetrated on Bishop Gallela Prasad of Kadapa on April 25.  Yet there is no official word from Cardinal Cleemis, as President of CBCI, on the Action Taken on the masterminds of the crime viz. Fr. Nalladimmu Raja Reddy, 48, Parish Priest of Palur in Peddamudiyam mandal of Kadapa and the main accused, Fr. Lingala Vijaya Mohan Reddy, 45, the parish priest in Vallur and accused No. 13 and Fr. Sanivarapu Marreddy, 39, parish priest at Renigunta in Chittoor district accused No. 14.  The Laity wants to know from the Cardinal whether the three culprit priests have been DEFROCKED  or they have been granted amnesty (read licence to kill) in view of the Jubilee Year of Mercy to do more untold damage to the Indian Church in the guise of wolves in sheep's clothing.  CCV's Isaac Gomes is of the opinion that the Cardinal instead of taking up Mounabrata like NAMO, owes an  explanation to the Laity].
